Future City Edition print

A complete area development should turn the Rijnhaven in Rotterdam into a new part of the citycenter. The arrival of the Rijnhaven Park and high-rise buildings with 2,000 to 2,500 homes will give the area a completely new look. To achieve the redevelopment of the Rijnhaven, a total of 8 hectares of land will be reclaimed by filling in part of the Rijnhaven for the Rijnhaven park and housing. Part of the Rijnhaven Park will become a city beach. It is still being investigated whether swimming is also possible or whether it will only be paddling from the beach. This depends on the tide and water quality.
