Bruut/Brutal follows the transformation of a former office building in Eindhoven as it enters a new phase after fifty years of use. Over a period of two years, Hans Wilschut photographed the building’s metamorphosis, focusing on the raw interplay of steel, concrete, structure and light. The book reveals architecture not as a fixed object, but as something in motion: dismantled, exposed, rebuilt and gradually charged with a new presence in the city.
